Well, we have been expecting Daniel to start walking for a while now. He was an early crawler and stander and has been very steady on his feet for a couple of months now. Of course, he took his first real step while I was at work yesterday. (sigh)
When I got home, I put him in front of me and he took two steps towards me before hitting the ground. (come on, mom.... crawling is much faster than this walking business!) I was a little sad to see my baby reaching this milestone. He is growing up so fast. Too fast I think sometimes. Ah well.... I doubt he will look back now that he has figured out walking, he will be running in no time, I'm sure:)

Well Gramma and Rachel left today at 2:45 and should be in Toronto now. Hopefully all went well on their flight and Julie was able to pick them up smoothly.
They had many beautiful days of sunshine and heat. Today after we came home from dropping them off at the airport, it had turned cloudy but still warm. Tomorrow we will again go bikeriding with Catrina and Ron at 8:00 in the morning. Dan and I should leave earlier as they have to slow down for us.
I took lots of pictures of Gramma and Rachel's visit. I hope to get some of them posted.
Florida is still like an alternate universe for us Snowbirds. We look forward to more of the Florida Snowbird experience.
It is great to be able to piggyback onto Dana and John's blog. We miss the boys!
